Dashboard tiles not updating

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I recently updated the app and having issues with tiles updating. For instant, the moving tile, sleep, exercise, etc, is not displaying previous activities such as daily movements as before. It does display the info once tile is selected.

Can anyone help?

Hello @VictoryJ, nice to have you here in the Fitbit Community! I'm wondering if your tiles are not updating the information or is this happening when you navigate to previous dates?

If is the latter, note this is the way the app works since only the main stats (Steps, Calories, Active minutes, Floors) However for secondary tiles is require to access individually to see your previous data.

If this is not the case, and your tiles are not updating, log out from your Fitbit app and go to your phone settings. Access to the App manager option and look for the Fitbit app in your downloaded apps list. Once you are there, clear the app cache and data and proceed to "Force Stop" the app. Finish the workaround by restarting your phone. When your phone has initialized, go back to your app and try again.

Keep me posted how it goes. I'll be around if the issue persists.

Work-around did work.

I, too, have this problem. Is it a syncing issue? I can click each of the tiles to access the information, but it does not update the tile for at-a-glance information. I find that I need to close the Fitbit app to get the information to update. I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 and the Charge 2.

Hi there @CFrieberg, welcome aboard to our Fitbit Community. My apologies since I was absent from this thread, but I'm wondering how it goes so far?

Since the date you posted, has been released new versions of the Fitbit app for Android. At this point I'm sure you have this version already: Android app version 2.65.1 is now available - 1/25.

Perhaps after the update, it might be require to do the steps I posted in my previous response one more time if the issue persists.

See you later and keep me posted.
