Deleted Food logs keeps re-appearing.

I have attempted to delete a item from my food log via the app.  I select the item and select delete.  Momentarily the macro-nutrients section goes blank but after a few seconds it re-populates even though there are no foods listed.  If I back out of the page and go back in the food re-appears on the food log.  However, if I use the website dashboard no such food is listed.  However the food continues to be listed in app.

Hello @SirGrant, let me start by giving you a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community. Certainly this is not an expected behavior. Lets try the following steps to start addressing this issue.

Log out from your Fitbit app. Go to your phone settings and then access to the App manager option and  look for the Fitbit app in your downloaded apps list. Once you are there, clear the app cache and data and finish this workaround by restarting your phone. When your phone has initialized again, go back to your app and try again.

I found this answer completely useless there was no way to clear the cache on my phone
