Hi! I had just let my friend setup their new device using my phone and when I logged back on to my account after they finished my inspire hr was no longer connected to my account and all of my food logs were gone. Help in resolving this will be much appreciated. I have food logs dating back to 2019 so it'd be incredibly frustrating if I somehow lost them all.

It also won't even let me try to set my inspire hr back to my account and just keeps having the loading symbol. All of my friends are also gone. I don't understand how this all could have happened just from letting someone create an account on my phone while I was logged out of my own.

Hi @DarkestRose did your friend set up their own account or did they use your account to set up? Your logs should still be there under your unique email address and password. Have you tried setting back up as a new device on an existing account? See if that helps. Your data should be there.

They setup using their own personal account. After they were finished I logged back into mine and everything was gone. I also tried setting my device back up on my own account but when I went to the place to add it it just kept loading and never loaded the page to let me select a device.

I think you might want to ask customer support directly. https://myhelp.fitbit.com/s/support?language=en_US
Do be careful if you remove the app, since the minimum requirement to download and use the app is now Android 8 or iOS 12.

I think I'll do that then. Thank you and thank you for letting me know about that too, I'll be sure not to.

I checked my phone and I have android 10 so I deleted the app and redownloaded it. That surprisingly fixed it and all my food logs are back and it says my device is connected again. : )
