I went running and set both my

Fitbit and the App to record it but they came back with different distances and pace. Which one is more accurate- my phone or Fitbit?

Hi @Hen360, welcome to the Community Forums!

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for the screenshots that were attached into your post. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know which Fitbit device and phone are you using to track your exercise? When was the first time you experienced this issue and how many times since then? In the meantime I receive your answers, please restart your Fitbit and then follow the next steps to troubleshoot the Fitbit app:

  1. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  2. Uninstall the app from your mobile device.
  3. Make sure that the Android version is up to date.
  4. Reboot your mobile device.
  5. Reinstall the Fitbit app.
  6. Login using your account credentials.

Let me know if the issue persists and if you have any additional questions.

Hi Ricardo,

Thanks for replying. I have an Inspire HR and my phone is a Samsung Galaxy A40.  I have restarted both phone and Fitbit and it still isn't syncing properly. When I run, should I just set my Inspire HR to monitor my run or just the App in my phone? Which is more accurate?
