Distance changes after finishing run

When i use the app to track a run it changes the distance after I click finish. For example i paused my run at 10k and clicked finish and it then changed to 9.95 and the distance on the map said 9.88. Why are they all different? Is there a way to prevent or fix it? Thanks

Thanks for bringing these details to my attention. This sounds strange as the same information recorded should be syncing with the Fitbit app. If you've not done so, I'd recommend to try the following steps:

 

  1. Log out from the Fitbit app.
  2. Verify if the Fitbit app is updated to the latest version.
  3. On your phone's settings tap on Apps > Fitbit > Storage > force stop the Fitbit app.
  4. Reboot your phone.
  5. Open the Fitbit app, log back in and check your information one more time.

 

If the distance keeps changing, let me know your phone's model and Android version. Also, take a screenshot of the distance showing up when clicking on finish and after syncing. You can attach them in your reply with the steps posted here.
