I use my pixel's 'do not disturb' mode to stop all the spam calls getting in. Androids "Do Not Disturb" allows you to make numbers appearing in your contacts to still come through as a call, and that is what I use.
However the Fitbit android app states "Your phone is in Do not disturb mode. Incoming calls will not be sent and app notifications may not be sent".
So it sounds like the Fitbit doesn't take into account the details of the Do Not Disturb, just the fact that is on and it stops transmitting notifications?
This appears to blocks all apps (like whats app, etc) from sending to my fitbit as well.

Hi @stubee, welcome back. It's great to see you here.
Thanks for the information provided, let me help you with this situation. Currently it's expected to not receive any notification on your Fitbit device with the "Do Not Disturb" option enabled, as the Fitbit app is unable to consider the exceptions set in your phone's settings. I understand how you're feeling about this, and appreciate you for bringing this to my attention. We'll make sure to continue working on the Fitbit app and improve its features based on your feedback.
If you need anything else, feel free to let me know.
