My Fitbit Bluetooth connection to my phone is draining my phone battery  down to nothing constantly. Have been having issues on and off for a long time and getting very fed up with it. Please find a permanent fix for this problem! My next fitness tracker I buy will not be a Fitbit if this keeps up!

is continuous synchronisation off, or on ?

Moto Z Force. Yes I had my continuous sync on.
