Dropping features with no acknowledgement, making customers jump through hoops

So now a second missing "feature" the app no longer has a method for setting up a fitbit Aria Air scale. Following the instructions precisely there is no option to add a scale, Mine quit syncing a while ago, perhaps with the switch to Google auth? but went to try to debug it and thought I'd just give it a start over, no dice the add device choice no longer appears, yet Google continues to see the device and not acknowledge the issue in the hep forums. It seems Fitbit/Google refuses to be responsible and either admit that the device is no longer supported or give an estimate of when a fix might arrive. Hence have ordered a Wyze Scale x.

This is very similar to my experiance with Fitbit's now missing health wellness report (a so called premium feature). I went round and round with support including sending screenshots and even screen recordings only to have them cancel my support thread due to "lack of response" Ticket number Your Fitbit Phone Inquiry / FHS / premium - #52068620 [ ref:!00D400N2lj.!5005a02u89HK:ref ]

My responses to the request never went longer than a day or so. But it was clear that the feature had simply been removed and support had no clue. Which is perhaps the biggest issue, making customers go through debug hoop for something Fitbit/Google knows, or should know is simply broken or discontinued. I used to admire the way Google handled bugs, not so much of late.
