During set up process I got back to previous screen

Try to set up new Inspire HR but every time i click on the setup buttom in the fit it app it kicks me out to the screen with all the different fitbits. The Inspire HR shows as available to pair in my bluetooth but cannot get it to pair.

I finally deleted the app and reinstalled it but from google not amazon.
Seems to be ok now. Thank you for your help.

Congrats on your new Inspire HR and I'm sorry for the difficulties that you've had during the set up process. This is an unusual behavior and to further investigate, may I know your phone's model and OS version?

 

In the meantime, let me suggest to uninstall and reinstall the Fitbit app, reboot your phone, restart your tracker and try the set up process one more time.

Thanks for getting back with the requested information. Your Samsung Note 9 appears in our compatible devices list, so it should be working well. Since that's not the case, let's try some other steps to see how it goes:

 

  1. Turn off the Bluetooth in your phone and any other device nearby.
  2. On your phone settings tap on Apps > Fitbit > Storage > Clear Cache.
  3. Go back one screen, tap on force stop and reboot your phone.
  4. Make sure your phone is using a strong WiFi connection or mobile data.
  5. Turn back On the Bluetooth just on your phone.
  6. Open the Fitbit app and try the set up process one more time.
