Hello everyone.
Thanks for your post regarding the friend request feature on the Fitbit app. I appreciate your comments and details regarding this situation. I appreciate your patience. In the mean time try sending the friend request over the Fitbit.com website. I just tried it and did not get any error message. Just have to wait for confirmation from the friend I sent the request to. I will be investigating forward and escalate this accordingly.

Hi @Krenar.A
The Friends Invitation endpoint was deprecated and can no longer be used. This occurred about 1-2 years ago. The current Friends endpoints available can be found here: https://dev.fitbit.com/build/reference/web-api/friends/

The best way to invite friends is through the mobile application. You can invite friends through your contacts, email or their Fitbit username. Once they accept the invitation, you can pull their information using the Get Friends endpoint.
Same here!

This is a problem with the mobile application. I'm going to transfer it to the correct forum.
