I just got a Fitbit versa and I live in the mountains. When I drive into town it's registering this as floors climbed. It's showing that I climed 60 floors today. Is there any way to delete this misinformation or stop it from occurring on a regular basis?

In your Fitbit app, go into the exercise tile, then click the stopwatch icon to log previous. Search for "Driving" in the list, then enter the start time and duration for the activity.

Hi, @amyng4dreams! You can create the activity "Driving," which will overwrite steps and stairs for the period you set it to. There are also 3rd party apps like DriveBit that you can download to run while you drive to make the activity for you.

Thanks for this suggestion! I recently drove to Buffalo, NY from Southern NJ, round trip, in a single day. The tracker said I climbed 200 flights of stairs and added 15K steps to my day. Crazy! Now, it's fixed. 🙂

@Candace66 Nice to see you again in the forums.
I am glad to read that you found the solution here. Yes, this is the way to overwrite the data collected during a drive. Thanks for letting the community know that it worked for you.
