Enable editing distance of a recorded activity

Please allow a user to edit the distance of a recorded activity in the Android Fitbit App.

I have a pixel watch which I use to record runs and swims. The runs are quite accurate, but the swim distances are not. Today my watch recorded 39 laps of a 25m pool however I actually did 48. 

I'd like to be able to edit the distance of my recorded swim, but I cannot. The app on my android phone only allows me to edit the start time and duration. Editing the distance of an incorrectly recorded activity seems like a basic, essential function. Please enable it!

Asking on a board full of fitbit users for a feature to be added, may not be the best course
