Enabling notifications to a new phone

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I recently got a new phone since I threw my old one out by accident. I have been trying to allow my texts and calls to go to my Charge 2 on this new phone but I can't seem to achieve this. After reading topics about this, solutions have said to delete the app on the old phone then connect the fitbit on the new device. Since I don't have that phone, what should I do?

Hello there @scorpiogirl1997, awesome to see you again. My apologies for my absence from this board and for the late response.  If your old phone is not around anymore, I hardly believe is causing the issue with your notifications. This is recommended when is around other phone that had a bond with your tracker since it may interfere with the notifications on the new one.

In your scenario, I recommend to follow the steps of this thread: My tracker isn't receiving notifications (Android Fitbit app)

Also, make sure your phone is listed as compatible. If your phone is not listed it doesn't mean it won't work, but some features may not behave as is expected. For more help please refer to our article: Which phones and tablets can I use with my Fitbit watch or tracker?

See you around and hope this helps.
