@evosam I moved your post to the Android app forum, a better fit for your issue. I'm not sure why you are getting this message. The Fitbit Status Dashboard doesn't list any incidents. I hope a fellow Android user can help you, because this feature is working on the iOS version.

Good morning. This morning I attempted to create a new food plan in the fitbit app and am getting this error. I'm not seeing that fitbit is reporting any outages. Any suggestions?
Thank you,
James

In addition to clearing the cache and force stopping the app, also try Logout and login.

Reported it through the help function in the top right (live chat) I got told it would be fixed in the next update.
I also asked if the issue had been reported as a specific bug that the update will fix and the answer was no, so take that as you will.

Users are being told that this won't be fixed until the next update. That is 100% unacceptable.
Thank you for your help but please advise if this is the case because I'm going to start making a decision on continuing with Google products.
This is one of the primary features that most of us use and mine reset on its own and now it won't let me set my numbers again.
Again I appreciate your help but waiting until another update comes out is not the solution as this function needs to be fixed right away.

Same issue here. And of course, because of another bug (calorie out being incorrect) we often have to reset the app - meaning that the food plan get's lost. Now you can't even set that up again!

That is so ridiculous, they should be fixing it ASAP not forcing us to wait for the new update.
