Estimated Oxygen Variation graph is broken

Hi, I just noticed that the green and yellow lines have changed and now are all over the place on the graph. All graphs for different days start with a 0:00 hrs. The fluctuations are not at all in line with what I was reading up until today.  Anyone experienced this issue?? Thanks

I spoke with customer service yesterday and they said they were working on it. They said if mine wasn't fixed by this morning, that I should call them again today. And it's not fixed yet 😢Sent from my Galaxy

Yeah, they don't and lots of users are in unfamiliar territory here when it comes to trying to install a technically "out of date" version of an app.  They haven't made this as easy as they could've and definitely should've.  If people like me can find the installation files needed in an archive online then I assure you Fitbit could've released something to fix this much sooner.  My thought was that maybe the data had been corrupted somehow but since my charts have been restored to normal, clearly that's not the case.  That's the one scenario where this delay would've been borderline acceptable.  Now it's just shameful.

And our moderator here Lizzy is just along for the ride and can't help as much as I'm sure she wants to be able to.  Frankly at this point I feel sorry for her.

Thanks Aiden1 for the roll back info.

Have a question though...am I not going to get the latest version of the Fitbit phone app after I uninstall it to perform the roll back? It would seem that I am going to be back at square one.

Thanks for any info you can shed on my concern. I would like to get back to a familiar SpO2 graph.

Disabling auto-updated from the play store should solve that.  Most people have this turned on.  To turn it off, open up the play store, tap your profile picture or initials if you don't have one.

Tap settings, then network preferences, under auto update apps, make sure you tick the box that says "Don't auto-update apps" and tap Done.

You should be good to go after that.

So, here is a question. What exactly is the SpO2 chart showing you (when it is right)? As far as I can tell, it only shows variations. Variations at what level? When was my O2 low? How does it relate to my sleep graph? The variations never line up with a particular sleep pattern. And when it finally gives you an average O2 reading in the morning, it never tells you any more than a range of for example 92-97%. That's not a bad range during sleep according  to my research. So why the orange high variation? I don't think that 92-97% is a high variation. Personally, I think the whole SpO2 reading is useless.

I didn't have these major spikes until the update from past experiences if you ask support to define chart not diagnosis the response is fitbit shows this ask your doctor. I liked the old graphs also when I got my last fitbit versa 2 in the package premium was included I did not want it made it clear and still stuck with the fitbit premium format. I agree alot is useless 😕

My range is from 94-96 which is good, but since the update, the high variation on the graph is all over the place as if I'm not breathing right. Before the update that graph was accurateSent from my Galaxy

Hi Aiden1,

Worked my way through the link you provided...success! Not sure if I got the particular version you advised in the message but the version was from June so it is far enough back that the SpO2 graph looks "normal" (as it appeared prior to the July 21-22 update).

Thanks for your efforts in finding and providing that link for us. It will keep me plugging along until Fitbit gets their act together and resolves this issue.

Thanks again.

Exactly! Now it's its it was always wrong till now, or is it now wrong with
that update they did.

I don't like the feeling and hate seeing my charts. This morning first
thing I check are my readings and get that anxiety feeling seeing that chart
My phone asked for a 20 min hard restart , I did it, but nothing changed...
