Hi, I just noticed that the green and yellow lines have changed and now are all over the place on the graph. All graphs for different days start with a 0:00 hrs. The fluctuations are not at all in line with what I was reading up until today. Anyone experienced this issue?? Thanks

Today, Fitbit rolled out a new view redesign of all the tracking that it does with new aide to side comparison charts, white background, etc. Not sure if this is only for premium users (which I am), but the most concerning part I see is that now all my sleep oxygen variations that used to always track as low (which is normal) are showing a lot of high peaks of oxygen variations now (which is abnormal and indicative of breathing abnormalities). I know I don't have sleep Apnea or any obstructive sleeping disorders, but yet it is now showing high abnormalities, which it never was before. Is anyone else seeing this? Fitbit - is there going to be a fix for this in the future as it seems there is a glitch in the system. There might be other changes that are making other tracking reports inaccurate as well, this is just one the stuck out to me with this new redesigned format. Please advise.

Hi, @Sf01 welcome to the community, I am going to move your post over to the Android App board where there are extensive conversations on these issues.
Cheers

I have sleep apnea, and I suspect that this data is correct, but it's not as smoothed out as the old graphs. 40 yellow spikes over 8 hours squished on a phone's screen looks ugly, but that would line up with the minimum number of apneas (5/hour) to be diagnosed with mild sleep apnea. The old graphs probably take frequency into account to make it simple to read, which is good for people who are not doctors (I am not). I'd prefer either the old graphs or just a graph of the raw o2% data, not this in-between thing.

Yep, was quite scary looking at this mornings seeing all the yellow. I am going to assume it it the Fitbit Android interface. All of the "New Improved" graphs are horrible. The weight graph is especially disappointing. It won't go full screen and is squished very tiny on the screen - I hate it! I have been tracking my weight progress on there for the last year and now I feel like I can't even see how well I've done. I would go there for motivation and now it looks like a blob. Very frustrating. Fitbit - please fix these issues!!!

Same here I check daily, unfortunately it no longer reflects the old data and appears to show allot of high levels now.

Gotta be the new version. This many people can't suddenly have wild fluctuations.

I've messaged Fitbit Support and their response was that they're looking into a resolution. Hopefully will be fixed soon.

This was my favorite feature and I check it daily. Almost had a heart attack when I looked today. I hope it gets fixed soon.

Same thing here .... After the last update, every day shows multiple spikes of high variation. Used to have yellow spikes only once or twice a week.
And to top it off SPO2 instant readings are "not available" in my country 😞 As if Peru did the readings instead of my Fitbit tracker - really disappointed. I upgraded from the Charge 4 because of this feature and now it isn't even available

Yes and I'm so glad you posted the same concern. I've noticed even all of my past data represents the same issues as its never been a issue before..... Hopefully, it's a glitch in the update and not an underlying medical issue I never knew I had.

I hadn't checked for a few days and doing so this morning gave myself quite a scare. I suffer from sleep apnoea, and use a CPAP machine, so checking to see what my spo2 levels are is important to me. Two days ago my machine stopped working, leading to a trip to the sleep clinic to get it checked over. On seeing a forest of orange spikes for the last two days I wondered if there was something wrong with my machine, leading to breathing problems and was on the point of contacting my clinic tomorrow, until I found this and other threads which show that many others are having the same problems..(And on checking all of my previous results which only showed an occasional blip of orange and no extreme variations have been changed!) It seems everyone using an Android is getting the same results - which I found reassuring. So it's a glitch with the Fitbit software after the update, and not the result of my CPAP machine being on the way to the scrapyard. A bit of a relief

We don't always test our code, but when we do, we test it in production.
Fitbit is becoming a silly brand.

Why test it when you can release it and let the end user test it.

Agree. The new graphs are awful. They are smaller and don't have proper resolution pretty much worthless. Which makes this **ahem** thing on my wrist worthless.

Absolutely, being "clever" with the presentation of O2, and then not explaining (for years) what the scale of the Y-axis is, renders the EOV worthless.
Simple suggestion to Fitbit: Just present the O2 data the same way that you present pulse rate. Exactly the same coding, 5 minute intervals with an interactive cursor.

I have the same experience. I hope that this is due to glitches in the update.

Hello
I had this problem when my app auto updated and now my sleeping HR and oxygen level lines are like they are stuck on BOLD times 1000 lol and I would love for it to be returned back to its usual display please.

Unless we all simultaneously developed breathing issues I guess it's a new 'feature' 🙄
I'm on Android. Is the same issue showing up on the IOS version of the Fitbit app?

The problem with the oxygen level still exists. Fitbit, please respond.

Yes and all historical data for Spo2 looks like this. I've cleared cache, reset device, reinstalled app, nothing is back to normal. Sleep graph is also jacked up.
