Exercise data lost in the Fitbit app

Last week, I noticed all of my exercise data was gone except for the previous 3 days. I contacted support but they were unable to help. Now, everyday all I'm able to see is the previous 2 days.  Where did the last 2 months go?  It used to show a cumulative workout time for the week and I could go back months and compare. I've tried reinstalling the app, logging out, force stopping the app and restarting my phone. Is there a fix for this?

I appreciate that you contacted our Support team. In order to further assist you, please attach a screenshot to your next response and reply to the following questions: 

 

- Are your exercises showing on your online Dashboard?

- Do you refer to the exercise calendar showing on your Fitbit app?

It looks like the data is showing online. It's the app that it's gone. 

I looked at the instructions and I don't seem to have the option to attach screenshots.

@sarahsukie Thank you for getting back. 

 

I'd like you to make sure you're logged into the same account than your online Dashboard, this to ensure the same information is displayed.

Hello,

Thank you for your time. I am logged into the same account both in the app and online.  Online I can see a year's worth of info. It seems to be in the app where the problem is. The earliest exercise data shown in the app is this past Sunday. Every day I check, and the exercise data from anytime before the three previous days is simply gone. It would be nice if everything would show in the app again.

@sarahsukie try clearing the fitbit app cache. Or the data for the fitbit app. You will have to log in after clearing the data. 

Alternatively, log out / in on the app

I am having this same problem.  I have chatted with two different reps and tried all the troubleshooting methods they recommended,  and it is still happening.  It is very frustrating to have your exercise data only show for the past 3 days
