Poor service

My  fitbit charge 3 has a black screen and I cannot change it with the app. I am unable to even pair it with bluetooth because I cannot see the pairing digits.  I have done all the trouble shooting suggestions, restarted many times but still nothing. Do I just throw this device away now?   All Fitbit can suggest is more of their products. They have been no help at all. Extremely unhappy with Fitbit

Hi @Irritated340  if customer support says they can't help you, then their must not be a solution for your problem. Were you under warranty, they might be able to help, but if you're out of warranty, all they can do is suggest you purchase another Fitbit. Just because they can't help you at this time doesn't mean their service is poor. They were there when you reached out to them, but just unable to help. Sorry this happened.

@Irritated340 have you tried this solution. It did the trick for me when I had the same problem with my Charge 3.

Plug the device into the charging cable. While the device is plugged into the charging cable, hold the button down for 15 seconds. Remove your finger from button. Note: Device won't have a smiley face icon and should be off with a black screen. Remove the device from the charging cable. Plug the device into the charging cable again. The smiley face icon appears on the screen.
