I changed my energy format to kilojoule and now when I check tracked exercise it shows everything multiplied to what it should be

for example steps taken and active minutes is shown as a lot more than it should but it is reflected normally on the dashboard stats

Hello @bjeromin, it's nice to see you again participating here in the Community Forums, welcome back! I'm happy to help you with this, my apologies for the delay in responding your post.

I appreciate the information that was shared in your post. To better assist you with this situation, can you please let me know when was the first time you experienced this and how many times since then? Also, which Android mobile device you're currently using to sync your Fitbit? Is this occurring in the Fitbit app only or your Fitbit.com dashboard too? In the meantime I receive your answers, please try the following steps:

  1. Force quit the Fitbit app
  2. Unsintall the app from your mobile device
  3. Make sure that the Android version of your device is up to date
  4. Reboot your mobile device
  5. Reinstall the Fitbit app
  6. Login to your Fitbit account
  7. Let me know if the issue persist

Looking forward to your reply. Please keep me posted.

I have the same issue.  Here is what happened for your engineers to consider.  Should be simple fix:

1. Recently updated the mobile app.  (Device is Android OS on Google Pixel.)

2. Went for a GPS run.

3.Synced device (Ionic) to mobile app.

4. Observed the exercise details at the "Impact" screen view with units set to Calories.  Number of steps shown appears accurate based off run.

5. Went to advanced settings and changed "units" to Kilojoules.

6. Observed exercise details at the "Impact" screen view.

Steps shown is now erroneously 4.184 times greater than the accurate number of steps...this is also non-coincidentally the conversion factor from Calories to kJoules.

Possible there is a parentheses error somewhere in the conversion?
