My charge 2 keeps jumping from app to app on watch eg. from heart rate to exercise to notifications any ideas please

Did you download the firmware update?  If you did is that when your problems started?

Yes that's when the problem started and thousands of other peoples as well

@Supergran123,  I feared that this was the case. Fitbit are not admitting any connection between the update and the failures of the charge 2 trackers.

If your warranty has expired all they will do is offer 25% off another product.
