Exercise on phone is not uploading to dash

I have 2 exercises I tracked on phone that I can see that I need on straps. Is the anyway to force upload them to the dash or save the files from phone to computer? Later auto recognised activity has updated to the dash but for some reason these haven't.

Feel free to try log out from the Fitbit App and login again with internet access turned on..

Hello my friend @skirmisher, welcome to the Community! Have you tried what @SunsetRunner advised? If so, and it helped, super great but in case it hasn't.. would you mind to give us some more details about those activities? 

 

  • Did you use the Fitbit app for tracking them?
  • Did you use your Fitbit tracker for those specif activities? 
  • Is your Fitbit app up-to-date
  • What are the only activities that your Fitbit.com Dashboard is showing?

Do you want to have a quick read over of this thread and see if your issue is the same?

 

If so, I'd recommend not logging out just yet, as when I tried that I lost the unsynced activities (and got a somewhat condescending suggestion that I'm dumb enough to confuse logging out with uninstalling and re-installing the app).

Hi guys! yes mirth the same issue and unfortunately, I spoke in chat online and logged out and the data of that hike is gone. I have done another hike and that has not synced either now. So I can't have anymore faith it this app for recording walks.😞

Marrefit. I can't use my surge to track hikes as they often last 6 hours plus and I'm camping so my watch would die. I use the app and it's up to date. My app is showing auto recorded exercising from my surge such as walk or sport exercises and these have uploaded to phone then dash fine.

@skirmisher Thanks for your response! As a follow up, I'd like you to confirm the following details:

 

- Was the "Hiking" activity working properly before?

- Did you change some settings on your Surge that might've affected?

- When was the last date that your Surge recorded the "Hiking" activity?

 

In the meantime, as another workaround, remove the "Hike" feature from your device settings, sync your tracker. Once this has been done, add the hiking option again and sync your tracker one more time, then test another hiking activity and confirm if it worked.
