I recently purchased an Ionic Tracker. It does a great job tracking my sleep patterns at night. Is there a way to expand the parameters so it will also pick up any naps I take during the rest of the day?

Under an hour will not be detected as sleep. Perhaps you can manually log it as sleep but I have not tried that.
Between 1 and 3 hours will be detected as sleep but you will not get sleep stages.
Over 3 hours, you should get sleep stages.
