Extremely high and inaccurate amount of steps

My Android app is displaying an extremely inaccurate amount of steps for today. 58,000 steps, 7,000 calories, and 5.5 miles. All of these are far from accurate. These stats are also displayed on my Fitbit. I've tried refreshing several times and even uninstalling and reinstalling the app. What's next???

Are they all from today? Or maybe carried over from yesterday? This happens once in a while when the user turns their tracker off at night.

Was the tracker sitting on something that was vibrating, maybe a clothes dryer.

The graph of the day should show when these steps where recorded.
