I am also experiencing the same issue after my Flip 4 OS update - I cannot get my Luxe to sync. After spending hours troubleshooting, I have installed the app on my work phone (iphone) for now. Hopefully Fitbit is reading these communities, and are noting the contacts they are getting for support. The chat agent (x2) basically gave me the same instructions that are posted out on-line. Sigh.

I've just had the following update from the support:
@FitbitSupport: Okay. We're currently releasing out a new firmware update for Fitbit Charge 5 version 20001.188.58. The update is continuously rolling out to all of our customers and should help eliminate the syncing issues. If it's not yet available to you, we suggest checking your Fitbit app from time to time. To know more about updating your tracker, see: How do I update my Fitbit device? https://t.co/kDNXpuC4ku. In the meantime, please sync your tracker using your other available Android device. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

Same with me for Charge 5 on a Samsung Fold 4, and same for my wife after the update on a Charge 4 using Samsung Flip 3. Fitbit offered to replace mine but I don't see that as a solution. There must be a software fix
Hey did you manage to resolve this?

Not yet as the fix needs to come from android or samsung or fitbit

Sad to share, not yet. From what I know, nobody on Android 13 manage to resolve this yet. And fitbit customer service doesn't even care about our problem at all. The onus is on the app developer to come out with an upgraded app to fix the compatability issue , not android. When I upgrade to Android 13, I have another app facing some issues too. However, the developer released a new app version in jus two days time which resolved the issues. Unlike fitbit who don't even care. I don't even think they are doing anything about it now as we are speaking. To add on , I got both fitbit charge 5 and fitbit luxue, and both stop working after I upgraded my phone to Android 13. When i test this on another spare phone which was on Android 12, there is no issues at all. The issues is very obvious. Like what others have done, I have tried reinstall , format, re-pair etc etc but nothing works. I have literally given up and just placed order for xiaomi band 7. What is the use of a fitness tracker that can't even be sync to the phone? This is the most basic feature. I don't think I will ever come back to fitbit again. And guys, in case you decided to go down the same path as me, pls remember to terminate your fitbit premum subscription too. Alot of users are complaining that they got charged by fitbit without any notification after the free 6 months too. Another marketing gimmick. What a horrible experience and great disappointment on fibit, a brand I once love and supported so much. Oh ya btw, other fitness tracker like xiaomi or gamin doesn't have this kind of membership gimmick **ahem**. You pay a single price and you get all the features.

It has occurred to me that it might be that Google bought fitbit to take it off the market (much in the same way Microsoft bought Skype, did nothing with it, then launched MS Teams instead.). Maybe the beginning of the end for fitbit, to make way for google fitness wearables. just an idea.

@DavidVoice It is only the Flip & Fold which are having issues with the Android 13 update other Samsungs are working fine.

Google bought Fitbit for its platform because Android Wear hasn't been great. If anything, they'll get rid of Wear not Fitbit. I don't think the Microsoft comparison works as Skype was successful for a long time but development and quality stagnated and Teams, WhatsApp, etc., stole its thunder.
@txteva yep. Non-Samsung Android 13 phones seem to be working too, or at least some of them.
