Failure to Launch

So I couldn't get my fitbit to sync to my phone after my phone decided to reset itself. I redownloaded the application and after several attempts to troubleshoot I still failed. So I thought I'll just delete my device and reattach it. Well when I go about it, the app finds my device and starts to sync and then says it's having trouble and try again. Any suggestions? I have contacted fitbit several times via email and once via chat and I'm still having trouble a week later. The fitbit is a charge2 and it works great. Best investment. Just can't sync.

First thing to try when a fitbit misbehaves is a restart using the following procedure:

It does no harm and can sort out all sorts of issues. You might need to give it a few tries though as it's known to not always work.

I have restarted my fitbit several times by holding the button down for four seconds until the symbol pops up while it's is charging
