Female Tracker Crashing

The female tracker is malfunctioning:

1. Says period will be IN 1 day...Interesting because I've  been tracking all week and ON day 3 currently,

 

2. Try to access from phone and crashes, says 'FitBit function not working' and then crashes.

 

This is my 2nd Charge 3 and have had non-stop issues with aps and syncs...

Thanks for taking the time to bring those details up.

 

I've had this happen with some apps myself. My suggestion in this case would be to try moving the app from where it is installed. If it is installed in an external drive (SD card) then let's move it to the phone's internal memory. You can do so by following these steps:

  1. Go into the phone's settings.
  2. There, go into the applications' settings.
  3. Find the Fitbit app in there and tap on it.
  4. Tap on the option to move the app into the phone's internal memory or vice-versa.
  5. Restart your phone.

That should get the app to work correctly.

I am not a techy person, this makes no sense to me! I don't know how to do
any of this.

This watch is supposed to HELP, not hinder... I have had non stop problems
and already exchanged once. Is it not possible to get a watch that has
been tested and works upon receipt?

Hello @courtneyld.

 

I am suggesting that there could've been an issue with the installation of the app which is causing it to crash in the way you are mentioning. 

 

Let me ask you some questions:

  • If this happening on the Fitbit app on your phone or on the Fitbit itself?
  • If it is on the Fitbit, what Fitbit are you using? 
  • When did this start happening?
  • Did it happen with the previous one?

Yes, in the fitbit app
No, not with previous
Yes, always with new watch, exchanged/received last week

Also, now that I have moved to SD card, I get error reply messages from FitBit saying it cannot be received, yet I log on from computer and my messages are here...  Crazy!

In that case my original assessment could be correct. Let's try to uninstall the Fitbit app from your phone and then download it again. That should help in case something was not installed correctly.
