hi
I have had the Fitbit app up and running since January but after the update, the app stopped working. As discussed in previous posts I deleted it from my phone Motorola G5s plus running Android 8.1.0 and reinstalled this made things worse as the app will not even open know any advice pls

I don't see your phone on the list of Approved Devices.

Yes this is correct but surely if the app was working previously to me reinstalling nothing should have changed I can understand syncing problems but surely the app should open

I've seen lots of cases where it worked with an unapproved device until a App update comes along but doesn't work with the update. If you are using an unapproved device, you have to expect problems along the way.
