FitBit Alta HR doesn't connect to bluetooth

Hello, I have a brand new FitBit Alta HR and I'm trying to set it up to my Samsung Galaxy S6. However, the FitBit doesn't connect to my bluetooth.

I have tried to log out to the FitBit app and login again.

I have tried to reboot my phone

I have rebooted the FitBit.

I have re-connected to Bluetooth.

I have Android 7.0

The FitBit keeps giving me the link: www.fitbit.nl/setup.

Anyone knows what else I could do?

Thanks!

Hi @Maja88  bluetooth is needed, but it doesn't pair to it. Here are the directions - click - see if you may have missed a step. Let us know what happens.

Thanks for the responses. The problem was resolved.

I was able to connect my FitBit to a Samsung Galaxy S8, so I used that device to connect the fitbit to the app. Then I turned off bluetooth on that device and voila, my old S6 suddenly recognized the fitbit. Had no other issues since. Works like a charm!
