Fitbit Alta and Samsung Galaxy A5 2016

Hi I've just upgraded to a fitbit Alta and love it, however I'm having trouble trying to receive notifications from my phone Samsung galaxy A5 to my fitbit.

I receive notification if someone phones me but not when I receive text messages any ideas ????

Have you reviewed if your text notifications are enable or if the app you want to use is selected? Perhaps the following post will give you more details.

Also make sure your mobile phone is listed as supported. While many Android devices have the requirements to sync, not all devices are able to be accessed by apps like the Fitbit App or some features won't be available. In theses occasions doesn't not necessarily meant it wont work, is just we cannot guarantee the behavior of the app or the tracker regarding your phone functionality.
