This seems to be an ongoing issue, why hasn't it been fixed yet? How do you force sync?

@Ajlek Welcome! It's good that the community is growing! Sorry to hear that your Alta isn't syncing with your Fitbit app. Are you using a compatible device or which phone are you using? Non listed devices may work but haven't been tested so I can't guarantee that it will work flawlessly. Still please go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there. Restart your phone and restart your Alta by doing the following:
1.- Plug your charging cable into a USB port on your computer or any USB power adapter.
2.- Insert the other end of the cable into the port on the back of your Fitbit Alta. Your Alta will begin charging.
3.- Press the button on your charging cable three times within eight seconds, briefly pausing between presses. The button is on the end of the charging cable that is plugged into your computer.
4.- Eight seconds after the first button press, you'll see the Fitbit logo on the screen. This means Alta is restarting.
5.- After you see the logo you can unplug your tracker from the charging cable.
Open the app to automatically start syncing. If you wish to "force sync" them then you just need to pull down the screen like when you are using a web browser on your phone. Also make sure that you have bluetooth and location services (GPS) on.
Let me know how it goes!

@Ajlek sorry for the delay in my reply. If this didn't work you can try setting up your Alta as a new device by following these instructions.
Keep me posted!
