Fitbit Alta won't sync with the android app since latest update

Since my Alta updated about 10 days ago I have been unable to sync it without removing it as a device and then re-adding it. I've tried all of the suggestions in the Help section and that's the only thing that works. I'm getting extremely fed up with it. Is it possible to go back to the previous version?

Experiencing same issue since Thursday. Nothing I've tried seems to fix it. Frustrated...

I have not had an update on my android since June, and no update on my alta.

Mine wont sync either and ive tried all the troubleshooting fixes I can find. Has anyone called fitbit to see if they are going to fix this issue?

Ever since the update my Alta doesn't sync or register with the app. I am tired of removing and adding the Alta to get it to sync only one time.
