Hi,
I am fed up with fitbit app sync issues in Android mobile. The app keeps showing, not sync since last 15 days. Every time I need to clear cache, re login and it will stay sync from that day, losing earlier day data.
I can't keep doing manual sync method everytime. Any solution to this?
My understanding is in Samsung mobiles it syncs with Samsung Health inbuilt app and updates itself. However, Samsung health will show daily updates and its real-time but the Fitbit app doesn't update regularly.

Hello @SunsetRunner
The feature you show in your screenshot is the option to use your phone to track your steps & distance when you aren't wearing your Fitbit. If you're normally wearing your Fitbit, you shouldn't need this option turned on. An example when you would use this option is you're going for a walk and you have to leave your Fitbit at home to charge.
This article helps explain this feature: How do I track my steps with Fitbit using my phone? (<-- click link)
I hope this help clear up the confusion about this feature.

Hello Rieko,
Perhaps, maybe I was not clear in my inital message.
I am aware of this android app and have been using this app without Fitbit devices for the past 2-3 years.
The issue has arisen recently, in the last 6 months or so. The Fitbit mobile app is not syncing automatically every time. I need to manually trigger the sync and often have to clear the cache, re-login, and then it will sync again from that day onwards. However, it then loses earlier data. I need a solution as to why the app is unable to continue auto-syncing, and why it stops after 5-7 days after resetting the app.
I hope I will get a solution. The link shared is very rudimentary and doesn't help much.
