4.30 seems to have finally fixed my distance and steps syncing issues. Hopefully it stays that way.

Hi @lin317 ! Welcome back to the Community !
I'm sorry to hear that it started syncing incorrect steps and distance.
Please bring us more details about the issue.
Could you also please check two things?
In this help article, How does my Fitbit device calculate my daily activity? You can find a detailed explanation about daily activity.
Some users told us that they managed to solve the step measurement problems by manually changing their stride length, as explained here, Can I change my stride length in my Fitbit account?
Could you also please check if Mobile Track is on ?
MobileTrack uses the phone's sensors to count steps. This is for when you have left your Fitbit at home (e.g. while charging). Please make sure MobileTrack is not activated.
It may happen that the steps recorded with the cell phone overwrite those from your device.
In the Fitbit app, tap the devices icon (top left corner). There you will see the devices linked to your account. If you see the Mobile Device Active (Smartphone) option, tap it and remove it from the account.
I hope this helps.
Best wishes.

Best AnswerThanks for the response. Mobile device is not activated. I can see how stride length could affect distance, but it would nothing to do with step count and everything was back to syncing correctly for several days.
I noticed the same issue. My steps were finally syncing properly for 2-3 weeks before about a week ago, then they stopped matching between my Pixel Watch and phone app again. Very frustrating because I thought they finally fixed this issue!
