Fitbit App Indicates I have information I am to respond

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My Fitbit App on my phone indicates I have a message or notification I am to respond,  but I don't know where to go to find the information to respond to the message Fitbit in trying to communicate to me.  I have opened the app and have tried to find the information without any success. Can you tell me where I am to go to resolve whatever Fitbit is trying to communicate to me?

Thanks,

Hello @JRW.

Thanks for bringing this up. Let me help you figure out what is going on.

Could you share some screen shots of what you are seeing? Being able to see the notification would let me find the best way to move forward.

Look forward to your reply.

Lanuza Sorry for only now getting back to you. It is on my cell phone.  I see the Fitbit logo with a number inside a red circle with a number in it.  Today it has the number 4.

I don't see this in the Fitbit app on my PC.

Out of curiosity I looked at my wife's cell phone and she has the same circle with the number 4 upper right of the Fitbit logo.

This leads me to believe Fitbit is communicated something to a bunch of Fitbit users. My wife and I have Samsung phones (Android).  She has an S9 and I have the S9 Note.

Hello @JRW.

Thanks for getting back to me and providing those details.

When you go into the app itself, do you see any red dot in any section of the app? If not, let's try going through all of the tabs on the Fitbit app (the ones in the bottom) and see if that helps with the notifications.

Look forward to your reply.

I have gone through every tab in the app and the only red dot I can find is when the coaching app took me to Google Play Store; the dot was in google Play Store where the search bar is located; that means to me they are trying to get me to buy or download something. I check out all the FitBit apps on the bottom of the screen and found no red dots or any kind of notification that I need to respond. I found no other dots.

I have three dots today located top right of my fitbit icon on my phone today.  It doesn't hurt anything, but I would like to know what they mean.

Thanks for your help.
