Fitbit App malfunction after the latest Android OS update

I am having sync issues with my Fitbit App on my Android phone. The problem is being faced after my phone had an Android update. The App constantly fails to find a device. I have been through multiple cycles of app uninstallation and re-installation with not much luck. The sync is very sporadic. Problem found with syncing Charge 2 and Charge 4.

Has anybody else observed this problem?
