I have a Charge 4 Fitbit that I got in January of 2021 and installed on a Moto G6 phone running Android version 9. All was working well till this past Wednesday, 10/13. I attempted to open the app and it immediately would close with the following error msg window: "Fitbit keeps stopping." and then has 3 choices, "App info, Close App, Send feedback." I searched the forums to solve the problem and have followed the instructions given for this problem with no resolve. I also cleared out the cache memory for all my apps, deleted any apps that I have not used for a while, hoping this might clear enough memory to open the Fitbit app. but this did not have any affect on this problem. I have deleted the Fitbit app, powered off the phone and then reinstalled the app with no success. I contacted customer support by phone and the issue could not be resolved. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

@gdad011156 Welcome to the Fitbit Community. Thanks for the details mentioned.
I appreciate the troubleshooting performed and the time you took to contact our Support team. It's odd what you're experiencing. May I know if you have installed the latest app version on your phone? It should be 3.48 as of October 1st, 2021.
Hope this helps.

I would go into your phone settings/apps/fitbit/ Stop the app.
Now choose /storage
Now tap clear cache.
Now restart the fitbit app.

Since you are running Android 9, I would
- Delete the Fitbit App
- Restart the phone to clear any remains of Fitbit.
- Open the play store and install a fresh copy of Fitbit.

I have installed the latest version, 3.49.1. Still having the same issue. App will not open. The error msg mentioned in my first post does not stay on the screen long enough to send on the info. Does anybody have any more ideas on how to get my app working again? Thanks.
