Hi. I was wondering if the app would work if I had my phone strapped to my arm? I'm disabled and push a walker. Or will it only work for people whose arms swing when they walk?

Hi,

Are you referring to tracking steps using the Fitbit app on your cellphone through MobileTrack?

If yes, according to the link https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1875 it shouldn't make any difference the location of your phone to track steps.

If perhaps you are referring to use an actual tracker, the location will affect the step count of a wrist based device, though you should be able to use for example a Zip clipped to your hip with no issue.

Yes, sorry I should have made that clear. I am referring to the phone app. I wanted an actual tracker but I heard they aren't great for disabled people and so I decided the phone app would be the next best thing. Thanks for helping 🙂
