@knrpad and @JansenMyburgh,

I am able to sync my blaze with poco f1 now. I did the below on my poco f1 first:

Settings -> Bluetooth -> Blaze(Under PAIRED DEVICES) -> Unpair

After that, I uninstalled and re-installed the fitbit app on my phone. Then I was able to setup my blaze with the fitbit app.

The uninstall and re-install may not be needed. You can choose to try either way.

Let me know if that works for you.

Before trying the above on my poco f1, I tried to connect my blaze with my iPad. It also worked there.

Hi there @knrpad, welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums! 🙂

I'm sorry to hear that you're having problems pairing your Blaze to your new Poco F1 phone, I'd like to help you out!

When it comes to the app not letting you in, it could be that the option that you chose was "Join Fitbit" which in that case will ask you for your information to create a new account. Be sure that you're pressing the "Log in" option which will ask you for your original email address and password and you'll be back at your old account with all your previous information.

Now, about the problem of your Blaze not syncing to your Poco F1 phone, this must be because this phone is not compatible. You can see the list of the devices that are compatible here.

When it comes to devices compatibility, due to Bluetooth issues that prevent certain devices, like Fitbit devices from syncing, our products aren't compatible with the following phones:

Huawei P8 Lite
Huawei P9 Lite
Huawei P20 Lite
Xiaomi Mi 6

For all other devices, if they're not on the list of compatible devices as in your case, you might be able to sync with them but we don't guarantee that the functionality will be optimum as we are still testing on these phone models and due to the large number of Android and Windows devices, our team has not yet tested all of them. We're continually adding more devices and improving our compatibility, so if you don't see your device on the list check back soon.

Alternatively, you can use the Fitbit app for Windows 10 on your computer, or use Fitbit Connect to sync with a Mac or Windows 8.1 computer to access your data and take advantage of the many features of your Fitbit device.

Hope this helps and if you have more questions, feel free to let me know!

PS. I'm moving your post to the Android app board for categorization purposes.

Even I am seeing the same bluetooth connectivity issue with my Fitbit Blaze and Poco F1. The last time it synced was on 15-Dec-2018. I bought my Poco F1 in August-2018 and was able to use it along with my Fitbit Blaze. Looks like it stopped connecting when the Poco F1 was updated with Android 9 in early December.

Poco F1 is compatible. It is a software issue. Please help us with a fix. I am able to transfer files over bluetooth from Poco F1 even after the upgrade. So, the bluetooth works fine on my phone.

Fitbit blaze shows wrong time now. There is no way to set time on the watch manually 😞

Looks like this is an issue with Fitbit and Android 9.0. Not an issue with Poco F1 phone. There is already a discussion going on here:

https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Android-App/Android-9-0-Pie-not-able-to-sync/m-p/2884861#M82160

Hope a Fitbit android app update will solve this.

thank you for your kind reply.

the problem is not with my phone. what I observed is the problem with BLAZE only. when I purchased

the phone it has worked for few days i.e around 1 week. and suddenly it has not started syncing with my new phone. BLAZE IS rejecting the syncing. Even I tried with my old phone which has worked well

for more than 1 year with  blaze. now that phone also getting rejected by BLAZE. so kindly guide how to rectify the problem.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums @SanthoshN and thanks for getting back @knrpad! 🙂

Now, I don't mean to say that your phones are defective. As I explained before, if your phone is not on the list of compatible devices but works currently or was working well previously, we don't guarantee that the functionality will be optimum and that it will always work fine as our team has not tested these models to ensure that the connectivity will be stable.

Thanks a lot for your comprehension with this. Let me know if you need more help!

Ferdinand,

A smartphone can interact with a lot of devices. You cannot say that if you want to use a particular device, you have to buy a particular phone. That will be absolute non-sense in today's world. Because to address those kind of incompatibilities there are communication standards and protocols. Bluetooth is one such a thing.

When my Poco F1 can communicate with other phones, wireless headphones, and etc, it is only unable to communicate with Fitbit Blaze. All it has to do is send & receive some data over Bluetooth to the phone.

There is an issue with Android 9.0, to which the Poco F1 was updated last month. The link I gave in my above reply can give you some insights on the actual problem. It is better you go through that before replying to customers. I hope the people responsible for that in your company are working on the solution and hope they will deliver it fast.

If you see your web forum, a lot of other people are complaining about similar issues with other phones.

sir

then what I understand is the life of BLAZE IS only one year. after one year it will reject the blue tooth

syncing. so every year we have to buy one new one.

as I have already informed that the blaze is rejecting the pairing with any phone.

so the problem is with BLAZE not with the phones.

kindly guide

@knrpad

If it is not working with 2 of your phones and your iPad, it better to approach Fitbit service centre. It now mostly looks like an issue with your watch.

Hello everyone.

I apologize for the delayed response.

@SanthoshN Glad to read that those steps helped you out! Thanks for taking the time to share them with everyone.

@knrpad It is very possible that this is happening because the phone is not fully supported and thus there might be some optimization issues that prevent it from syncing.

Feel free to reach out with any further questions.
