Fitbit Charge 2 synch issues with MotoX Play

Today I got my FitBit charge 2 and paired with Moto X Play. Setup seems smooth and started getting data on fitBit app on my android phone. But seems there are issues with synch. after some time it stopped synching and now synch is random success.

I have set synch all day but still sometime synch happens only once in multiple attempts.

Sometimes app complains about bluetooth issues and asks to restart bluetooth.

HeartRate in app shows bpm suspended while I have setup heart rate ON allowing continous monitor.

I can see hart rate on fitbit device so there must be some issue with app/synch.

Device: MotoXPlay running android 6.0.1 (updated with all updates).

Hope to get some support to resolve this issue.

I'm having similar problems with my 2014 Moto X and Charge 2, which I received earlier this week. 

 

I installed the android app and set it up a few days ago. The synch worked flawlessly for the first day or 2, but I've not been able to synch my phone to the fitbit over the past 2 days, either automatically or manually. I have been through all the troubleshooting steps with no success:

* restarted the fitibit and the phone

* checked the bluetooth pairing

* uninstalled and reinstalled the app

 

I've also tried synching to my mac laptop, and this does work.  The android app is also connecting to my fitbit account, because my updated results appear on the app after I've synched to the laptop. But connecting to the phone is kind of the point. 

 

This is seriously hurting what I had hoped would be a healthy relationship. Anyone have any fixes?

Approached Fitbit support and they mentioned MotoXPlay is not a supprted device so I should try with other supported phone or synch with PC.

 - Charge 2 does not comes with a PC synch dongle but they agreed to help me by shipping one dongle. Will recieve soon.

 

Aproached Motorola support and they mentioned issue must be be with fitBit and they cannot help in this regard as I am able to use some other BT devices.

 

After many trials to restart fitbit, mobile and a couple of times unpairing, pairing, forgetting BT profile, enable all notifications, setting always synch, now I am able to synch most of the times. Its successful 70-80%.

 

Sometimes there is error or some delay but eventually I am able to synch as of now.
