Fitbit Charge 3 not properly syncing with Xperia XZ1

 I got my Fitbit charge 3 and it's not always stay syncing to my Sony Xperia xz1 compact through the Bluetooth i have to keep restarting the Bluetooth everyday it's rather annoying it's only been once since i got as a gift from husband we managed to get it to acknowledge the notification i missed a call or a text because we were in the same room,and my phone is always next to me

@BabyBum Welcome to the Fitbit Community! I hope you're doing well! Sorry to hear that your tracker isn't syncing with your phone. You can try going to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there. Restart your phone and restart your device. After this try syncing them. Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
