Fitbit Charge 5 not working on Samsung S9+

the fitbit is new, on the Samsung never had any Fitbit apps... new start

the phone finds the fitbit and when I start to set up, a screen appears like:

"Connect Charge 5 with Fitbit-app"

you have to accept but the button stays gray..., can not continue... ????

Thanks for the explanation and the screenshot. Would you be so kind to let me know what does it say above the button? Does it give you any kind of instruction?

I recommend you take a look at the following article: Why can't I set up my Fitbit device?. Make sure your Samsung meets the minimum Android requirements. Android 9 is reuqired for the app to work properly. Do you happen to know the Android version of your Samsung S9+? Thanks in advance.

Are you setting up the device using the Fitbit app, or through the Bluetooth settings?

Fitbit devices need to be setup using the app.
