Fitbit Flex won't sync

Every time I open my app to check my stats the fitbit attempts to sync and is unsuccessful, telling me it can't connect to fitbit.com. I have WiFi connection and right before it errors out it disconnects me from WiFi and gives me the error message. It didn't do this until the fitbit app told me to update my fitbit software. Someone help!

Welcome aboard to our community @ChelsinColoRADo. My first recommendation is try to troubleshoot this issue by reviewing our article: "I can't sync my tracker". If the issue still persist, try to log our from your account and force stop the app from running in the background or you can reboot your phone.
