Fitbit Ionic does not sync

I got my Ionic in December. Since I initially hooked it up to my Sony Xperia (Android 4.1.2) and my Samsung Galaxy Tab A (Android 7.1.1) I've always had connectivity and syncing issues. I've restarted bluetooth, wireless connections, phone, tablet... it is very frustrating. It's been 5 days since it synced last time.

At this point I would like to return it to Fitbit and get my money back, it's a disaster, a very disappointing experience.

Fitbit, please give me my money, and you can keep my Ionic!

Hello there @Gabriel-Ottawa, welcome aboard to the Fitbit Community! I was reading your post and thank you for bring this issue to my attention. I can understand your frustration regarding the syncing troubles you have experienced.

I saw you have tried different solutions to address this issue, nonetheless I would like to mention the phones you have mentioned, doesn't figure among our list of compatible devices. This doesn't meant the tracker won't work at all, but the difference is we cannot guarantee the behavior of the app in relation to its functionality since the app is not optimized to run with the devices in question. Saying that I would like to suggest the following thread to review if there is something missing to try: Having trouble syncing? (here's how to fix this).

However this is the most important I wanted to mention, we have received reports that the app is presenting issues to sync with one of the new versions. For more details please take a look at this post: Syncing issues since 2.64 Android app update.

Hope this helps and let me know how it goes.
