Fitbit Labs prompt will not GO AWAY

In the same space as the cardio target for the day, there is now a box that says:

Fitbit Labs

Ready to upload your first lab report?

Get a simple summary of your lab report. If you're not not ready, please share why in the survey.

Get started

If I tap on "Get started", I am taken to a screen where I can scroll down and choose "No thanks" or "Agree & Continue".  If I choose "No thanks", I never get a survey, it just closes, and the notification box never ever goes away.

It has been like this for a couple of days now. I don't want to participate in Fitbit Labs. I have turned off Fitbit Labs in my setting. Why is this box not going away??? I am tired of scrolling past it.

Hi @jennygymnasium -- just curious what you mean by "didn't work."

Do you still get the banner(s) with no X in the upper corners?  If the X is here, does it close the banner when pressed?

What Android phone are you using?

Maybe providing some answers will help someone suggest items that might help you get this working 🙂  Sorry, I can't be much help because the banner issue is resolved on all the devices we have.

No, I'm now on 4.48. The 4.47 update gave you the X to remove the lab
banner, so I guess that one fixed it.

4.47 gave most people the X in the upper right corner to close the
banners. If yours didn't maybe 4.48 will when you get it.

I haven't been able to see or find anything that was changed by 4.48. Maybe
invisible improvements?
