OK, go to login to fitbit on my Samsung Galaxy J5 and receive "invalid email or password" (I can login on my laptop as I'm using it to type this) So I try for password reset but it tells me I have no network connection and to check my settings, the thing is I've just uninstalled the Fitbit app and downloaded and reinstalled it (over the network) so I guess I do have a network connection but I can't check any Fitbit settings as I can't login! Frustrated here.

Let me help you try to log into your account. Thanks for sharing all of the steps that you have tried to get it to work.
It could be related to the internet connection. Are you using WiFi or a Mobile Data plan to try to log in? Whatever you are using please let me know and try to use the other. So if you are using WiFi try to log in through your mobile data or vice-versa. That should help so that the log in goes through.
