A few months ago my fitbit One stopped being paired to my phone, a Samsung Galaxy Edge. I have reset my phone, turned bluetooth on and off. I have re-started my fitbit device on my computer a few times as well. Each time I go to pair the device, it says "Pairing rejected by One".
Please help!

Is there a second (or third) Fitbit device in the house? My phone paired with my wife's Alta Fitbit -- and in doing so it disconnected my Fitbit One. Got all sort of no-sync, Bluetooth doesn't work, etc., messages. Then I discovered in my Bluetooth had connected by Android Samsung Note 8 to the Alta. I removed the Alta from my connected Bluetooth devices. VOILA -- my Fitbit One reconnected with my phone. Everything is back working AOK.

Hi Caroll, I've had this problem since August 15th and tried various things.... this has just worked, don't know if it's a coincidence though!
I'm not technical at all so please excuse the basic language;
I have the Fitbit dashboard on my laptop, I clicked on settings and then devices.
At the bottom of the menu on the right, it says "live data"... enabled.
I turned this off, waited a few seconds then turned it on again.
On my android phone, I then opened Fitbit, clicked on settings icon.
Clicked on devices.
Clicked on sync now, and it worked!
All of this could be absolute tosh but if you're as frustrated as I was, it's worth a try 🙂
Good luck Caroll, I feel your pain.
JJ

@Carolldrudy what steps are you taking when pairing the Fitbit One to your phone?
A user does not pair a Fitbit tracker to their phone, but sets up the Fitbit tracker to their Fitbit account. There is no reason to go into the phones bt screen except to remove the tracker from the phone.

If you want to use the phone, install the app onto the phone.
Log into your Fitbit account. The tracker should sync.
There is no need to pair the tracker to the phone. If you do try and pair it you should get the message, "Rejected by Charge 2"

You may have to turn the Bluetooth of in the tablet.

This is why I asked what you where doing, since I knew you where doing something you should not have been doing.
