Fitbit Software from other than google

I live in a remote location.

 

We have limited external access via satellite and policy is no google! I have no authority over this.

 

Where else can I download the software for an android system for a new charge2 I have been given other than the google store?

Since I got no reply to this I thought i'd try to get it up with my workbook, a Lenovo Yogabook with Windows 10 installed (with the latest updates), at least the software was available on the fitbit site. However it fails when first configuring as it wants a dongle, even though the yogabook can pair with the charge2 via bluetooth. A donge therefore is not required! And I have read a number of other messages and reset the charge2 and reinstalled the software twice, so to my satisfaction it's your problem not mine! And uninstalling and reinstalling is not a simple proceedure either as it seems to leave stuff in the registry that has to be removed manually. I'm beginning to thing it's only worth junking and that's what i'll tell the boss if we have not got it up to my satisfaction by the next weekend! And you can take it i'm not a happy australian.
