Fitbit - Strava - Can't create allow connection - 500 Error

Hello,

I'm trying to get Fitbit to sync with Strava. I'm unable to create a connection for it.  Strava doesn't show under Manage connected apps.  I go to strava.fitbit.com click Connect > Click Authorize for "Authorize Fitbit to connect to Strava" > Now I'm on the fitbit oauth page; I select Allow All (location gps, activity/exercise etc..); Click Allow and that takes to an error page.

{"statusCode":500,"error":"Internal Server Error","message":"An internal server error occurred"}

 Strava support wasn't able to help and neither did the voice call with fitbit support.

Appreciate any help.  I kind of wanted to use app to share with my non-android friends.

My Strava connection broke years ago and I've never been able to fix it, despite hours of me trying. At this point, I have to have a third party app to sync my Fitbit data to Strava automatically. The app I use is called Health Sync and it works great (also allows you to sync to a number of diff apps, not just Strava).  I highly suggest checking them out as I don't believe the connection to Strava will ever properly be fixed.

I experience the same issue and error code when trying to connect the Fitbit and Strava apps as well. Haven't been able to find a solution yet.

I've been experiencing the same issues as well since yesterday! Syncing Fitbit activities to Strava seemed to always be working fine, until my last runs yesterday didn't sync. I tried all possible solutions offered by Fitbit and Strava troubleshooting, but none have worked so far.

I revoked the access for Fitbit to connect to Strava, but now can't seem to get it to connect again without this same error message that you're having popping up. Fitbit tells me it's a problem on Strava's end, but contacting Strava about this seems impossible (thanks chatbots!).

I just want to know whether this is an issue that will resolve itself due to a server error on either parties end? Or is this an issue I'll just have to be stuck with forever? Before I was strongly considering switching from my Fitbit Luxe to a Pixel Watch 3 but considering this problem has now popped up, I'm not so sure anymore...
