I have just bought a fitbit Versa. I have followed the instructions and I have sync it to my app. It told me it needs to do an update so set the update up at 4pm and it still is up dating. I have restarted my phone and fitbit as some people have suggested and still it is taking forever. It has been 3 hours now and it isn't even half way. how long should it take to update, I am disappointed already with it. It is connected to the wifi but apparently up dating by Bluetooth. I thought I would update my fitbit from a alta to the versa and starting to wonder if there is a common problem with it. Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong. It wont update via wifi just Bluetooth. many thanks.

Welcome to the Forums @merrittmun81.
Thanks for bringing this up.
Given that the update is going through Bluetooth that would explain why it taking so long. My question in this case would why the update didn't work through WiFi. Do you get some sort of error message? If so, what does it say?
Look forward to your reply.

Many thanks for your reply it took all night to complete. Total of 12-14 hours only done bluetooth as it kept coming up error on Wi-Fi when mine was fine. It is now up and running and I will admit it was worth the wait. Many thanks again.
