My FitBit app updated to version 3.20 and it is draining my battery. Has anyone else experienced this? Any solutions available?

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know if you experience this battery draining issue in the past or just after updating the Fitbit app? Did you notice this issue after checking the app battery consumption on your Samsung Galaxy S8 settings? More details will be appreciated.

Hello! I started noticing this issue after updating to the new version of
the app. This has also happened to me in the past with other app version
updates. I noticed the battery draining when I took it off the charger and
it very quickly dropped to 80%. I also checked the the device manager on my
Samsung and the app was using 19% of the battery.
